The average time to bleed to death from a life-threatening bleeding injury is three to five minutes. The average time for first responders to arrive is seven to ten minutes. This class will focus on providing emergency medical care during an active violent event. The class incorporates live-fire handgun drills from a concealed carry posture along with lifesaving medical skills based on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Active Bystander guidelines. Participants will be awarded TECC and Stop-the-Bleed (STB) training completion certificates. Payments are non-refundable, however may be used towards a future class.
